Found this on a glorious new blog The State of Gray. Gray Maher is a lovely "Over 50" woman and I am looking forward to getting to know her on her young blog. I have been in a blue funk lately so this encouragement was needed this morning.
TARGET SHOPPING
Two black T-shirts are Who What Wear = $18.00
(now on sale for $13.00)
Love all three - long-sleeved for casual/around-the-house wear and the other two for work, both home and "the great return" to office time to come in a month or so.
Conair Basik Round Hairbrush = $13.00
Suave Max Hold Sculpting Gel = $3.00
I recently got a new haircut and that only means new tools!
I am no good at Selfies. Wrong angle. Too close. Too far. Wrinkles.
Blue funk. "I feel bad about my neck" syndrome. (God, I miss Nora Ephron, don't you?) If I do manage a 'decent' update, I promise to share.
WHAT I AM WATCHING
In these post-Downton times, I found this to be a lovely return to civilized behavior in the UK countryside. Do they even have "Karens" in the UK? I doubt it. A hearty Two Thumbs Up for this gentle story told well.
GOOD IDEAS
From another favorite bog, Everyday Eyecandy. Lashawn Wiltz is a treasure with her guidance to improve everyday life over a cup of coffee. Her Instagram is entertaining as well. In this post, she shares a couple of downloads to get your day/week organized and manageable. I printed out the week sheet and will see if this improves on my little notebook list that often just gets moved from one pile to another. I look forward to making red lines on these pages. Hopefully, this new organized To-Do will be another tool to chase away my blue funk.
OR MAYBE THIS WILL HELP ...
My Crooked Garden. Sorry, East Coast . . . a sunny morning here in SoCal!
Have a great week!
